Description

The history of Vogler's work.

History

Early history

Game Development started with the work on "Wurfel Engine" in the year 2012. Writing the Open Source game engine was a hobby project which was also part of a facultative part of Vogler's final exams. After achieving the "Abitur", the german high school qualification, the project remained a hobby of Vogler.

After that

In 2013 vogler started studying Computer Science and Media at the Bauhaus University in Weimar. Since 2014 Wurfel Engine is used for the commercial indie game Caveland. While older versions of the engine's source code remain freely available under BSD-3 license the latest version of the game engine is developed closed-source.
